Adam Clark, our unsung Scottish hero. Did you know? Mister Clark has been asked by Count István Széchenyi to be the lead architect for the Chain Bridge. Moreover, he has numerous buildings to his name all over Budapest. The first public fountain, the first plumbing in Buda, the first public walking passage in Pest, just to name a few. But, what makes him special for us is how fearlessly he protected the Chain Bridge from getting blown up throughout the 1848 revolution.
